Upper
The upper is made of an Air mesh that provides the maximum amount of breathability and gives the sneaker its lightweight quality. The laces have been specifically designed to provide a great level of snugness. You can rest assured that once you have tied your laces they will stay laced from the beginning of your run to the end of your run. Although this might sound mediocre, it is very important for runners to know they can continue their run without having to stop and constantly re-lace their laces.
Midsole
The midsole is where many of the features are and where the sneaker offers many of the amazing benefits to the runner. The Faas-Foam is found in the midsole and provides great amounts of comfortability to the runner as well as helping to absorb a great deal of the impact as the runner races. It has been praised by many runners for being so comfortable that they can be worn every day. The inclusion of the Faas-Foam makes it less strenuous on the runner and they can run for a longer duration of time without having to worry about wear and tear of the sneaker.;The SupportCell also offers a great deal of support for the runners. The support that the sneaker provides for the runner has been thought by many runners as the hallmark of this sneaker. I would be very safe to say that the “S” would be better used for support instead of stability.;The midsole also provides the OrthoLite sockliner which holds the foot in place and allows the sneaker to grasp the foot and hold it in place.
Outsole
The rubber outsole, along with the entire sneaker is visually pleasing. However, it has not been received very well by runners. This is due in part, and rightly so, to the outsole being made of a very lightweight rubber material that makes it very difficult to keep your footing on wet terrain. Aside from running on tarmac or dry terrain, runners must be wary of the terrain otherwise the outsole just doesn’t have the design to keep the runners gripped to the ground. This is especially true when running across rain drains or wet metal plates on the ground.
Breathability
The mesh found in the upper offers a great amount of breathability, which is important as it allows the runner to run for a long amount of time. It is always important that any model of footwear allows some level of breathability for the wearer and the designers kept this in mind.
Comfort
The comfort these sneakers provide is due in great part to the Faas-Foam that is found in the midsole, which offers a great amount of stability apart as well as comfort. The comfort the sneaker allows is due in great part to the sock-liner that locks the foot in place and allows for a much more snug fit for the runner.
Style
As stated throughout this review, the style of this shoe has been specifically designed for women. Although the male version of this sneaker is also very stylish, the women’s version is by far the superior sneaker.
Durability
These sneakers have a great amount of durability thanks to the material that is used in the upper which is incredibly durable against the road and curb terrain. However, it should be noted that a majority of complaints were made about how these sneakers weren’t very resilient against the weather, particularly in the rain or heavy fog. Many runners complained about how easily their sneakers would get soaked due to the bad weather.
Protection
A great amount of time has been spent on securing the back of the sneaker to provide additional support but also protection against wear and tear.
