Comfort
Epson Runsense SF-110 doesn’t have a very sophisticated way of providing comfort, as the band is made of a single construction and a simple material that allows for more durability on a mud run. We’re not saying that the watch band is uncomfortable by any means, but it probably won’t provide the same level of comfort as something you might find at a much higher price point. Even so, you’ll find that this watch is more than comfortable enough.
Size
s Available; In terms of available sizes for the Epson Runsense SF-110, there’s really only one size, but this is augmented by a band that’s fully adjustable to accommodate just about any wrist size. Epson could’ve easily went the route of many other GPS watches and created a band that wasn’t adjustable, only accommodating the average wrist size, but they instead opted to customize the watch and make it easier to fit any athlete. With that said, having more independent parts will increase the risk that the watch can come apart under abuse, but the Epson Runsense SF-110 is still plenty strong, even so.
Accessories
There are no accessories to speak of for the Epson Runsense SF-110, but again, when you consider just how many features this watch is already packing along with how cheap it is, it’s a no-brainer that this is a great choice for a multi-sport watch. On top of that, there are plenty of apps–both first party and third party–that you can get to enhance your experience as you compete. In this way, it becomes easy to look past the lack of accessories that this watch offers and instead enjoy the features that the Epson Runsense SF-110 does offer.
Style
The Epson Runsense SF-110 isn’t the most stylish watch out on the market, but it does come in three different color choices that can suit just about anyone’s tastes. The color choice covers the entire band of the watch and circles the face of the watch as well, giving the watch a tasteful and minimalistic style that will suit the tastes of the majority of athletes. You can even choose to have a bolder color if you want, making this an ideal gift choice if you’re looking for a cheap gift for the athlete in your life. In this arena, the Epson Runsense SF-110 is a perfect choice.
Activities
In terms of activities, the Epson Runsense SF-110 can stand up to just about any type of exercise you might throw at it, whether that’s running, biking, or even swimming. You should keep in mind that the watch isn’t going to be able to stand up to serious depths while you’re swimming, and you shouldn’t take it into any rushing water, either. Other than that, though, this watch will serve you well for any activity you might throw at it. When you add to that the durability of the watch, it’s apparent that this watch would even work for a mud run as well.

Advanced Features
In terms of advanced features, the Epson Runsense SF-110 isn’t as powerful as some of the high end watches out there, but it definitely makes up for that by supporting a number of popular running apps, making the watch that much more advanced than it normally would be. In this way, you can track all of your data and chart it to see where you’ve been and where you can go in the future. To be sure, there aren’t nearly as many advanced features to be found in the Epson Runsense SF-110, but it has more than enough basic features to make this okay.
Connectivity
In terms of connectivity with the Epson Runsense SF-110, you can expect to use apps to send your data to your phone or computer so that you can then keep track of all of your data in one place. It’s one thing to have a multi-sport watch that can track your data in real-time, but it’s another thing to be able to then send that data to your other devices for your convenience. You won’t be able to use Bluetooth with this watch, but there are other ways that you can connect and get your data where it needs to go. The connectivity is very good with the Epson Runsense SF-110.
Ease of Use
One of the benefits of the Epson Runsense SF-110 having such a simple interface is that it’s incredibly easy to get the data that you need without having to sift through a number of menus like you would with most other GPS watches. The Epson Runsense SF-110 might not be capable of a lot, performance-wise, but it does just fine when it comes to the simple tasks that every multi-sport watch needs to be able to accomplish. If you’re looking for a simple watch that can achieve the basics and not break the bank, then the Epson Runsense SF-110 is the watch for you.
Power Source
Another benefit to having a relatively simple GPS watch is that the battery life is fantastic. Whereas with something like the Apple Watch you run the serious risk of having the battery die on you within a day or two, the Epson Runsense SF-110 boasts a battery life that can last you as long as seven days of full fitness tracking. This means that you can take the watch out day after day without having to worry about the watch dying out on you. The downside to other GPS watches with bright displays, touch screens, and fast processing speeds is that they drain batteries quickly. This simply isn’t the case with the Epson Runsense SF-110.
Accuracy
The accuracy of the Epson Runsense SF-110 is mostly thanks to the very accurate sensor that’s used in the watch to keep an accurate sense of your GPS location. Your distance and pace, by extension, will also be accurately measured, leading you to have a more productive run that’s conducive to making progress instead of just going through the motions of exercising. A GPS watch is basically worthless without accurate sensors, so luckily this isn’t something you have to worry about with Epson Runsense SF-110.
Face
The face of the Epson Runsense SF-110 is relatively simple, but it definitely gets the job done in terms of displaying pertinent data that is easily accessible at a glance as you’re performing. The face might not be as fancy as what you could get with other high-end watches that are out there, but this also comes with a benefit. The benefit here is that the face is more durable than your average multi-sport watch, and it can stand up to damage better than a watch that’s meant to be shown more than it is to be used.
Band
The band on the Epson Runsense SF-110 is made from a solid construction that keeps the watch secure, while at the same time allowing for adjustments to be made to provide for a better fit. You should have no problem getting the watch to fit just right, as you can adjust the band to get it right where you need it. This isn’t a case of Epson offering a one-size-fits-all solution, which is what some other companies have done in the past. Instead, they’re allowing for full customization with their Epson Runsense SF-110.
Apps
In terms of apps, the Epson Runsense SF-110 can be used in conjunction with the Epson view app. If you’d like to go even further than that, you can also use apps such as Strava, MapMyRun, and many other apps as well. Epson understands that people aren’t simply happy with just using their own proprietary app, so they’ve made it so that you can use third party apps as well. This is really going to set this watch apart, especially in this price range, as it allows you to connect with apps that would usually only be used by more expensive watches.
Sizes Available
In terms of available sizes for the Epson Runsense SF-110, there’s really only one size, but this is augmented by a band that’s fully adjustable to accommodate just about any wrist size.
Durability
In terms of durability, the Epson Runsense SF-110 definitely performs at a high level. It’s made of a stocky, single construction so that there’s less of a chance of the watch giving out under pressure. Not every watch is built for durability. For instance, you probably wouldn’t want to go and tackle a Spartan Race with an Apple Watch. That device might be chock full of all the latest features and bells and whistles, but one bad fall and the screen might easily crack against the ground. This watch, on the other hand, can definitely take a hit and keep going.
Price
Simply put, this is where the Epson Runsense SF-110 shines. In terms of price, we’ve rarely seen a watch so cheap. As of the time of this writing, you can actually get your hands on this watch for less than $50 on Amazon, which tends to be the best place to shop for this sort of thing. This watch is so cheap that you can feasibly buy a backup watch and still have plenty of money to spend on other athletic equipment. This makes the Epson Runsense SF-110 absolutely ideal for mud runs, as the watch is super tough and cheap enough that even if you do manage to break it, you can easily afford a replacement.
Bottom Line
The bottom line with the Epson Runsense SF-110 is that it’s an incredibly affordable multi-sport watch that has all of the features you’d expect from a high-end watch without all of the unnecessary bloat. The watch is simple, sure, but it deceives with just how much it’s able to pack in. It does everything you’d need it to do in terms of tracking your calories, steps, and the like, and it can be used for just about any sport, including grueling mud runs. If you’re looking for a durable watch that can stand up to abuse and still keep performing, then the Epson Runsense SF-110 might just be the watch for you.
